hot crazy vaca!

last week we went to mesquite with taylor and natalie! me and tony got to mesquite about a day and a half before taylor and natalie which we spent playing bingo (i won $34!) and golfing at the palms. because it is so freakishly hot down there we got to play 18 holes with a cart for $14 a person! sweet deal!

nat and tay arrived late that night and we all headed straight to bed because the next morning tony and taylor were off to play a round of golf at the arnold palmer course while me and natalie were off to the pool! me and nat took a couple of pictures but neither were flattering and of course tony and taylor "forgot" to take pictures so you will just have to use your imagination. and yes... me and nat stayed out in the sun for about 3 hours that day... not smart! haha my whole back side was so sore!! ouch! we then ate some lunch at popeyes and headed over to the eureka to play some more bingo! taylor won for the first time and i won another $100. we played the 7pm 9pm and 11pm bingo and in between hit the slots. we sound like gambling freaks when i say it like that but really we aren't like those crazy old people who sit there for hours on end. besides... by the end of the trip we had won what we spent so it all works out! haha anyways... we weren't even going to play the 11pm bingo (even the coin told us not to... haha) but then we decided to anyways and let me tell ya... that was a frustrating game!! haha so let me explain... the last game of bingo played is called the countdown coverall. they call the first 42 numbers before the game even starts and you fill up your cards and then wait until the last game to continue filling it up. well if you cover your entire card within 47 numbers you could win $15000!!! well we were filling out our cards and tony was 3 numbers away... 3 NUMBERS!!! and just to give you an idea... usually i am about 6 or 7 numbers away so ya. so the whole time tony was all excited... he has never won at bingo before and he was only 3 numbers away... this HAD to be his time to win... so they start calling numbers... and he didn't even win the consolation prize... serious bummer deal.... after that we were all bingo-d out. HE WAS 3 NUMBERS AWAY AND STILL DIDNT WIN!!! what the heck bingo.... what the heck!

the next day we all slept in and around 2 we all went back to the palms to play 9 holes. we ended up ending around hole 7 because we had to be done at 4 and it was so freakin hot and me and nat were still recovering from our burns.

 oh... and tony almost killed nat! haha he was teeing up and was trying for a low stinger shot and his ball ended up going through the golf cart we were all hanging out at. i heard it wizz by and it was inches from nat's head. from then on we made sure to park the golf cart in a safer place! haha

then we went back to the eureka to redeem our free buffet passes (they are the only thing tony "wins" at bingo thanks to chuck and tony's inability to win bingo! haha) sadly the experience buffet was under construction so we had to make do with the other buffet that still had our crab legs and prime rib but it was not as good as the experience.

then we played some more tables and tony won $60! woohoo! he is alot better at the tables than i am... i never won anything off of them. oh well! since we were all bingo-d out we decided to do a little casino hopping and ended up at the casa blanca. holy cow! we were going to the wrong casino the whole time! they had a free concert going on in the pool area that was awesome! they were playing old rock songs and we were dancing and singing along. me and nat were just sad that we weren't in our swimming suits so we could take a dip in the pool... but it was still fun! we will definitely remember that for next time!

the whole time we were there we were wanting to get a picture for our rockband band "douche" and since it was the last night and we still hadn't gotten our band picture we headed back to the condo at about one in the morning and headed over to the pool to try and get some sweet shots. after a few failed poses...

 natalie TAYLOR had the idea to jump into the pool with our clothes on for that one perfect shot! well... in mid air i looked over and only saw nat jumping in with me... tony and taylor had the great idea to let me and nat jump in by ourselves... thanks guys.

obviously me and nat were suspicious... look at our faces! haha

don't worry tho... they jumped in the next time... they just wanted us to do it by ourselves so they could laugh at us... haha

we had a great time and love spending time with taylor and natalie. while laying out by the pool me and nat planned out our whole lives together... and i love that we were able to stay friends during high school and find hubbys that are also great friends! love it when things work out like that! this is a band that won't be splitting up ever!!! :)

and since i know you want to see it... our first album cover!! haha i love us! 

ps thanks to my grandma and grandpa jensen for letting us use their condo, my mom, nat (sister) and tom for watching the pups. we appreciate it very much! :)
