changes!!

Ii always seems like with the new year we always have some sort of change in our lives. this year tony got a new job! well… he hasn’t technically quit his last job at the utah youth village…(or kohls for that matter...) he is still on the payroll as a fill in if someone is out sick or on vacation. it was bittersweet for him to leave… there are kids there that he loves to work with and they hated to see him go but at the same time he is now working for a production company called C-9 Productions. it is awesome because they team up with local businesses to get their name out there as well (perfect for charmed pix!). plus… this will bring in more auditions and roles AND he will be casting, producing, directing, writing, and a little bit of sales. haha speaking of roles… i think i forgot to mention some that tony got. his most recent role he walked around all day on set in his addidas underwear… hello underwear model!! so be on the lookout for that commercial! J haha ok… he had a hospital robe on… he was a knee surgery patient… not an underwear model… although he is sexy enough for that! heck ya! it was for mountain star hospital so i'm sure you will be seeing him soon!

oh and to celebrate we went to lehi for some popeyes and popped some bubbly! yay for tony!!

sa for me… no big changes really… i did get some new pink glasses! yay! tasia who works at pearle vision (and knows us almost too well) saw us come in to look at glasses cuz I needed new ones… I was done with the whole “tiny fey on 30 rock look”…

 and she was like “marissa! we finally got pink frames in for you!!” and i must say... i love them!!

 

 

2014!!!!

happy new year everyone! i still can't believe how fast 2013 flew by! we had a fabulous 2013 including selling our condo, tony getting more acting gigs, popeyes opening up in lehi (yes it's a big deal... haha), a new niece and a trip to denver, a trip to mesquite with our besties nat and tay, a trip to the cabin, and my brother coming home from his mission. and who could forget little kingsley having surgery? its fun to sit and reflect on the last year and also celebrate the new year. it almost feels like a fresh start, a time to focus on our goals and ways to accomplish them. it gets me so excited to think of whats to come! this year our big goal i think would be finding a home of our own. as grateful as we are to my parents for letting us take over their basement i want a home of our own... plus i keep finding great d.i.y blogs and i want to try some of the things so bad! haha

 

anyways so we had a pretty low key new years. my parents and little sister were in denver and my little bro was at his girlfriends house so we had the whole house to ourselves! so what did we do you ask?? sat in the basement, ate snacks, and watched some tv... haha some partiers we are!

then around 11:00 natalie and taylor came over, we counted down the seconds to midnight, drank some bubbly then played dirty minds.

i'm so excited for this new year. like i said it feels like a fresh start, a time to focus on the upcoming year and to get excited for what's to come. i hope everyone has a great year! i'm so excited for 2014!!
