in loving memory...

august 10th 2011

we both knew this day was coming but neither of us wanted it to. it was the day we finally broke down and put little miss cyber down. it could be one of the hardest days of our lives.

tony had adopted cyber about 16 years ago when she was just a little puppy, about one years old.

 tony says that she was a very active, very loyal puppy

 i only knew cyber (or cybee as i called her) for 3 years but she was the sweetest dog who had an obsession with food! we could go on and on with all of the memories we have with our cyber but i will spare you... i will just make a shutterfly book and if you would like to read it you can! haha

 we miss you cyber but we know you are running the streets of heaven, free of pain, looking for any scraps of food someone might have dropped. we love you cyber! 

my birthday week!

so as i'm sure most of you know... we don't just celebrate our birthday on our birthday... we celebrate the whole week! i don't know how it started but it works for me! even though i had to work all week long tony made sure to make the week special!

we also have a fun tradition of stayin up until midnight so we can celebrate the exact moment it becomes our birthday! here we are august 4th at 12:01 am!

tony really wanted me to open my gifts at that time... so i did! he got me steelers stuff for my car! woohoo!

so just like the rest of the week i had to work on my birthday... bummer deal! but i did get to go to lunch with my mom, nate, nat and tony! after that i only worked for another hour or so before heading home!

that night we went to dinner with tom and trudy (i hope i spelled it right...) at one of my favorite restaurants, johnny carinos.

as part of my birthday week i got to choose a lot of things, like what to have for dinner, or what to watch, etc. well i also got to choose what ice cream i wanted... play dough!! its so yummy! and surprisingly tony liked it too!

here we are relaxing and drinking some bubbly to finish out the day!

 then on sunday my mom cooked us some homemade cafe rio! yummy!!

and my birthday cake... white with white frosting... the best!!

i guess nat is camera shy...

oh yes... did i forget to mention tony's other gift to me??? he got my a PUPPY!!! YAY!!! we spent a few hours on my birthday and the rest of the weekend looking for one.

we discussed it and decided that we should get 2 puppies so they can keep each other company while we are at work all day. tony had found an ad for pit bull terriers for $100 a piece. he took one look at the white one and brought him home that day (with my permission... don't worry!)

tony then told me all that was left of the litter was a little girl... even though i really wanted a small dog how could i let these two be apart?! so monday night we picked up his sister.

saturdays and summertime!

so the past couple saturdays we have gotten out and enjoyed this nice summer weather! two saturdays ago we decided to go hit a bucket of balls at mulligans. it was fun! i finally discovered why tony gets so frustrated while playing golf... the ball doesn't always go where i hit it!! on the plus side i did finally hit a ball with my irons! woohoo!

 then last saturday tony finally got to have some fun with his christmas gift! we got invited to go shooting with kevin, natalie, taylor, and emilie. it was alot of fun and we can't wait to get out there again. (i also decided i need to get myself a gun... haha)
