priesthood & flowers

this past sunday tony was able to bless his dad tom with the melchizedek priesthood and ordain him an elder. it was such an awesome experience and i am so happy i was there to experience it. tony was a little nervous as this was the first time he had ordained anyone but he gave an amazing blessing and had nothing to worry about!

and afterwords trudy was nice enough to cook us a yummy breakfast full of  bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, orange rolls and an egg-in-the-hole which we had never even heard of before but we now love them and can't wait to have them again sometime. thanks again trudy!

it also reminded me how blessed i am to have a husband who holds the priesthood. my tony is so incredible in every way and i am so grateful for him in my life. he is seriously amazing! :) love you bear!

speaking of my amazing hubby... he also surprised me at work today with some flowers and a teddy bear delivered from flowerama! it was so cute!! i went home to let the dogs out and when i came back to work there they were sitting on my desk! it totally made my day... isn't he the best! :)

car-mania!

so we traded in the old rx for a new lexus es 300 which i named dalia (doll-ee-uh) after a character from the tv show suburgatory. isn't she pretty?

 and check out those rims on her that tony surprised me with today! thanks bear! :)

and she even has a sexy interior... black leather with a cherry wood detail... awesome!

and of course with a new car you have to get some new shades right? check these bad boys out! i got them for $10 off of ebay... pretty sweet right? :)

then tony's car lacey also got some new wheels and rims. smith family motors was willing to trade the tires off another lexus ls so tony could have the nicer rims. sweet deal!

and i just have to add if you are ever in the market for a new car you should visit smith family motors in draper... they are the best to work with! we have gotten all 3 lexus' there (plus the new wheels/rims on both cars) and we absolutely love them! they are great to work with!

new year = changes

happy new year everyone!!

i hope you had a great new years celebration! we sure did!

we first went to famous daves for lunch... so yummy!

then we spent the night celebrating at home and rang in the new year with our puppies. 

we ate tons of snacks and drank lots of soda,

played with our new helicopter toy, the puppies didn't know what to think...

and of course popped some bubbly

don't worry... there were only a few drops left!

and shared a new years kiss!

it was a perfect night!

and with a new year comes changes...

first change? my hair! what do you think? it took me a little bit to get used to but i decided that i like it! (and so does tony! woohoo!)

 

in other news... our puppies also 8 months now and getting bigger!! but they still haven't lost their puppy energy or cuteness yet! :)  i don't think they will ever loose their cuteness tho...

we also got a new car but i am having some issues uploading pictures so that post will come shortly...

we also had a fun time last weekend with tom and trudy! they are doing some remodeling in tom's house and we got to help tear down a wall! we had so much fun! so anytime you need a wall torn down you know who to call! :)

i'm excited to see what 2012 has in store for us! its going to be a fun year... i just know it!
