oh puppies...

so i realized that i haven't update this for a few weeks... but to be fair not a whole lot has been going on. we did celebrate tom's birthday a little over a week ago but i didn't take any pictures and i can't do a post without pictures! haha

but in other news the pups are still growing... king is now 80 lbs and luna is 67 lbs. holy cow!! and i don't think they are done growing yet. and speaking of the pups... they ate our rug!! it has taken me some time to get over this cuz i loved that rug! we had just barely bought a memory foam mat to go under it so it would be more comfortable for them to lay on. well they loved it but then 2 days later they decided to rip it up

this is only part of it... i had cleaned up most of it already but look how little the pieces are!

but not before they chewed a hole in the middle of the rug... at least chew the edges so we can cut it and no one will notice! haha

anyways... now onto some good news! tony just landed a part in a movie to play a viking! it was random because he had auditioned for it like 3 months ago and didn't hear anything so he just assumed that he didn't get it. but then on sunday he got a random call and it turns out he had gotten the part but no one had let him know. so now he has to get fitted for his costume in the next couple of weeks and the movie shoots mid-august. i'm excited for him! as for me... i'm just working away. i've been working on a drawing for my dad that is almost done so stay tuned for that. other than that we are just livin and lovin life! :)

memorial day weekend

to kick off our memorial day weekend we attended tom and trudy's wedding! it was such an awesome experience and i am so excited to officially welcome trudy into our family! :) they were sealed in the morning of may 25th in the salt lake city temple. i was able to be trudy's escort and it was a fun walk down memory lane as i watched trudy get ready in the bridal room. its crazy to think its been 2 and a half years since i was in that very position getting ready to marry my handsome man.

so now onto the rest of our weekend. we were going to go golfing but thanks to the crappy weather it didn't happen. so we decided to get off work early on tuesday and go with nat and taylor. i am frustrated cuz my tony seems to be getting better and i seem to have plateaued... my drives are consistent but my short game is terrible... oh well! i still have fun! haha

on memorial day we wanted to have a nice meal and after driving around draper we found this asian restaurant called cafe trang's. its up on 12300 south and just above 1300 east... right by the walmart. anyways it was SO yummy! and i highly recommend if you are in the mood for some asian food!

we also spent a lot of the weekend looking for new couches. we were looking for black leather ones but we both loved this rust colored sectional that we got for a steal of a deal! (the extra sectional piece wouldn't fit so its currently in our office... just in case you were wondering)

they were retailed for $3500 and we got it for $1300!! they even recline and are made of a bonded leather which is perfect cuz the pups can get up there and we don't have to worry about them getting scratched! yay!!

now you can come visit us and actually have a place to sit! yay!
