american discord premiere

so in case you don't remember, tony was chosen to play major griffin in a short film called "american discord".

he loved the cast, crew, storyline... basically everything (except maybe the night he froze! haha) anyways last friday was the big premiere and i got to tag along with tony to view the first screening of it! we all first met at the vintage cupcake in ogden for some yummy cupcakes. of course i wanted the one with pink frosting  to match my pants... haha

then we headed across the street to the theater to watch. this was the first time i had ever seen tony act and it made me such a proud wife to see him up there on the screen! plus it was cool to see his name all over the credits! my man is an amazing actor! did i also mention he also got the part of firefighter fred on "proper manners"? cuz he did! yay! before you know it he will be on the big screen with the rock or will smith! woohoo!

day of love!

as i have said before we don't really do a lot for valentines day. i would rather be surprised with flowers on a day where they aren't expected than a day where they jack the price up and everyone expects them. anyways so in case you forgot we have a pink theme for the day. its really for me because a. i love pink and b. i don't always get tony something pink but he always finds me something pink. so of course sticking to the theme i wore my pink outfit!

tony surprised me with some sweet neon pink pants! i love them!

he told me he was going to get flowers but thought i could enjoy the pants for a lot longer. what a smart man i have!
tony picked himself up some b-ball shorts and i gave him a coupon book full massages. 

 

 we also went online and ordered us a few more fun things. tony got a rocawear coat and a trojans sweatshirt and i got a couple shirts to go with my new pants and a mini steelers helmet for my desk at work.

and of course we had to get candy hearts... 

i love my hubby!! (who just landed a role in proper manners by the way) he is my bestest friend and am so grateful for him in my life.

and speaking of love... can't forget about our pups!
we love them and the laughs they bring us everyday!

gator jerky!

in case anyone forgot we went to florida a couple years ago with my family. one of the days we were there we went with my aunt and cousins to cocoa beach. well along the way we kept seeing people selling gator jerky and tony really wanted to stop and buy some but because we had no idea how to get to the beach we couldn't pull off any buy any. so anyways fast forward a year my aunt came to utah to visit and tony asked her to keep her eye out for some gator jerky. well... my grandparents just came back from visiting my aunt in florida and came back with the jerky!!

 and yes even i tried some. surprisingly it was actually really good! it was just a little weird to think that i was chewin on a gator! anyways so thank you teresa and grandma and grandpa for helping tony get his gator jerky! :) now we just need to head out to florida to not only get more gator jerky but so i can defrost! i feel like i have been freezing for 4 straight months!
