this year the engels were in town for memorial day. they had a wedding to go to later in the week so they stayed with my parents for a few days before heading up north.
all of us (except my mom who stayed back to watch the grandkiddos) went golfing on memorial day.

we played best ball with 2 teams. the marrieds vs the unmarrieds and my dad. i would say we used tony's ball most of the time but each of us had our ball used at least a few times which made me feel like a better golfer than i probably am. haha

the other team joe (nat's boyfriend), nat, nate and mikayla and my dad. we beat them by one stroke! woohoo!
we also did a lot of relaxing and hanging out while they were here including s'mores, games, and of course drew loved playing with the pups. he could outlast luna which if you know her is hard to do!
oh and i got stung... well i stepped on a bee and my foot was SWOLLEN!! i couldn't put on my shoes for a few days it was so big. my foot looked like a little cabbage patch kid doll's foot! haha
they also made a special trip to firehouse subs for lunch before they left so i could meet up with them and enjoy some more time with my favorite niece and nephew.
it was so fun to have a few days with the engel's and i can't wait to see them again! just a few more months and they will be here for nate and mikayla's wedding!
