we had planned to go to mesquite for a nice relaxing weekend away but wouldn’t you know things come up (the morning we were going to leave nonetheless…) and we ended up staying home…which is fine but I was really looking forward to getting out of here for a few days in the nice WARM weather. oh well… we are rescheduling and the weather wasn't all that bad so all is well . and don't worry... we made a trip to lehi to get some popeyes to bring a little of vacation to us!
we ended up spoiling ourselves at home which is always fun! like always we agreed to not buy gifts but to spend time together and go out and shop for a little something. (although i did end up getting him a jacket but it was free so it doesn't really count)
tony bought him some new golf balls and i bought me some extremely comfortable jeans (on clearance!!)
on the actual lovers day we went out to lunch with my fam at huhot which was delicious! just make sure to not make the same mistake tony made… he put the hottest sauce they had on his meal which is fine but he probably quadrupled the amount you should put on… haha i guess the guys cooking his meals let him know too… haha
that night we spent the night in considering we knew how crazy we would be to try to go anywhere on valentines night.
over the weekend we also found time to take the pups for a walk
and of course we got them a little (big) toy tony found for them
after all... who couldn't love these cute pittie faces!
