tony turned 32 earlier this month! and just like tradition he got a whole week to celebrate! which was a good thing because his birthday was in the middle of the week... which makes it hard to really celebrate on his actual birthday when we both have to work.
anyways so on his birthday after work he opened his gifts. a usc shirt (which he bought himself)
a rod woodson collectible that i got for a great deal...
and a really yummy dessert that i had saved from work to share with him! although it was really rich so after a few bites he was done... haha
and before you are thinking i am a lame wife he had asked me to just him a few small things for his birthday so he could go shopping and pick out what he really wanted... but more on that later.
so after gifts we then went to dinner with tom and trudy to famous daves. yummy!
the next day tony decided he wanted to open another gift. we had gone shopping black friday and gotten a few things for him for christmas but since it was his birthday week he could legally change his christmas gift to a birthday gift... so he opened a jamiroqui cd. which is funny because i was originally going to buy him that for his birthday anyways but wasn't sure if he still wanted the cd or not.
that weekend we went shopping (like i mentioned above) where tony bought himself a few pairs of shoes.
we also went to pirate o's here in draper and where tony found some super delicious pear sparkling cider to celebrate with!
then the next weekend while we were out and about tony found him a machete... and he was SO excited! haha
like he said, he is ready for the zombie apocalypse now... what a nerd... but he is my handsome nerd and i love him!
ps in case you are wondering... there is more celebration to come but it probably won't be until after christmas so i at least wanted to get this part on the blog so no one would think i forgot! so stay tuned! :)
UPDATE: the weekend after christmas we finally got around to finish celebrating tony's birthday. friday we went out to lonestar steakhouse with the fitzgeralds. we had never been there and were we missing out! it's so yummy!
then that sunday my mom made tony a birthday dinner complete with a big flavorful roast, home made mac n cheese, and flavorful healthy veggies. tony enjoyed it so much he didn't want to stop eating to take a picture... oh tony... that is why i love you!
