4 years!

so although i'm sure none of you are really wondering... no we did not forget to celebrate our anniversary this year. haha although we had planned to go to mesquite this year we never made it down there... :(  we had put our house up for sale around the beginning of august and a couple of weeks later we had an offer and were under contract. well... we were supposed to be out the day before our anniversary. luckily we had taken some time off already but sadly we had to spend our anniversary moving.

funny story... so we closed on the 17th (the day before our anniversary) and i locked us out of our house... haha we were borrowing my dads truck to move our couches (they were in russia picking up my brother from his mission) and we took it to the office to close and wouldn't you know as i was closing the door tony was like "wait!"... we left all of our house keys inside... haha oops! and since the only other person with our house key (tony's dad) was out in west valley we had no idea what we were going to do. thankfully i had my purse with me and after we tried a few different gift cards we ended up using my temple recommend to get in... christ is always the answer and he will always let us in. i will have to remember that story for when i am teaching a lesson sometime in the future... haha

so anyways our anniversary ended up being pretty low key. we went to our condo for the last time to clean up and say goodbye.

then hung out at my parents house (our temporary home) and bbq-ed some hot dogs for dinner and picked some tomatoes from their garden. romantic huh? haha

i have been putting off this post thinking we were going to go out to dinner or do something else for our anniversary but we were getting settled for a while... then my bro came home from his mission... then king tore his acl (more on that later) so we have just been busy! we did finally go shopping this past weekend for gifts for each other and i'm sure we will eventually make it to joe's crab shack like we wanted but as cheesy as it sounds our anniversary was perfect anyways because i got to spend it with my man! i love him!
