Tony & Marissa: happy happy birthday tony dear!

(can you tell i'm in primary?? haha) first of all i can't believe another year has almost come and gone! with tony's last birthday it also marked our 5 year anniversary of when we first met! crazy how time flies!

so this year, just like any other year, i tried to celebrate tony's birthday all week long! well it worked out nice because i had bought tony a groupon which i later discovered expired about 5 days before his birthday... so the wednesday before, we got in the car and i told tony to drive.

when we finally made it to our destination i handed him his groupon for a month membership and a 30 min golf lesson at black clover! basically its an indoor golf facility where he can go for an hour a day and just hit balls! plus its literally 2 min away from his work so i know where he will be going after work for the next month... haha

then that weekend we ordered in some pizza hut (the big box deal where you get a pizza bread sticks and cinnastix... yummy!!)

and we also took the pups to my parents house to run and play!

on sunday night (birthday eve)

we cooked up some beer brauts and burgers. tony had been wanting some for a while so it was perfect!

and although the original plan was to stay up to celebrate at midnight we ended up going to bed around 11:30 that night. but i made sure to wake him up at midnight so i could still be the first one to wish him happy birthday! :)

on his birthday we were both planning on being home from work around 2:30 to go shopping or whatever else he wanted to do. well i came home at lunch to feed the pups only to discover that king had a... very stinky and disgusting accident in the cage... not to mention both pups were laying in this mess... well i end up just staying home from work and cleaning up our house and the pups for the next couple of hours before tony got home.

when tony got home he opened his gifts. himalayan salt rocks that he can heat up for his tired feet after work and a comfy steelers blanket.

and then later that night went to dinner with tom and trudy at famous daves. yummy!!

then after dinner we went over to dick's so tony could find him some new irons before his month membership to black clover started. after hitting balls for a half hour he finally decided that he wanted the nike vrs irons and ended up buying them a few days later at uinta golf.

then the next day we headed out to the nike outlet where he bought these sweet shoes

and some shirts and a hat.

later in the week tonys final gift finally showed up in the mail. i was so upset because i knew that tony had wanted a remote control car for a while and when i saw one for a good deal i ordered it online. well... literally 2 hours later tony calls me on his way home from work to say he had just bought one! i tried to convince him to wait to use it until his birthday but he wanted to try it out now! haha so now he has 2 cars to tease the pups with.

then on saturday my parents took us to fugi. we had never been but i would recommend it! it was a good price, good food, plus you get a free show from the hibachi guy! haha
