for those of you that don't know... tony really loves halloween but i, however, am a wuss when it comes to scary things. i feel like i have gotten better since we have been married but i still scare easily. but this year seeing as we have our own place again i decided i would suck it up and let tony put his scare on for the month. with football and everything we only ended up watching a few scary movies (including the exorcist on halloween!) but i still have to take baby steps here.
a week before halloween my parents had us over to paint some pumpkins. tony was not feeling great but being a great hubby he came with me anyways.

what a fun night we all had! it was the first time we had painted pumpkins and i think they all turned out pretty good!
now this really doesn't have to do with halloween but i am posting it anyways because it was the day before halloween.
i had originally bought this for our anniversary but after discussing it with tony we decided to wait until exotic month to use it which happened to be october!
we got to try rattlesnake sausage, wild hog, brahma bull, and kangaroo. oddly they were all really good! just really bizarre to think about eating these weird animals!
halloween we sat home and passed out candy. sadly we only had like 6 trick or treaters but we still had fun dressing up.
